Introducing.. THE ALPHABET THAT CHANGED THE WORLD
The Little Homie is so proud to introduce to you our next, and by far the most inspiring book to date - The Alphabet that Changed the World.
The Alphabet that Changed the World is a not for profit project we have been working on for the last 18 months in collaboration with 26 inspiring artists from all around the globe in the hopes of creating a cultural learning experience at story time, whilst also giving back to children in need.
Our goal with this alphabet book is to create more awareness and understanding of each other’s cultures and encourage conversations at home with your children that will allow them to grow with a more in-depth understanding of the world and its many complexities. 100% of the profits from this project will be donated to a children's charity, with the public helping to choose which charity receives the profits each month.
We had so many incredible artists come together to create this truly unique book, and we’re so proud of the finished product. To bring our dream to life, we gave each artist a letter of the alphabet and asked them select to someone they believe has had a positive impact on the world. They had free choice to complete the artwork in a way that best represented them and their unique artistic style, whilst also showcasing a quote from their person that inspired them. The result is an inspiring, unique alphabet book that celebrates our diverse world. The first three months of profits will be split between Pencils of Promise, The Lebron James Family Foundation and Ambisie. All inspirational children's charities helping to provide education and support to children in need. We still want to hear from you though! Please send through charity recommendations via email (hello@thelittlehomie.com) and we will check them out and get in touch! We won't be able to work will every recommendation, but we'd sure like to try! Eventually, we will set up a voting page so on checkout customers can choose where their donation goes.
